Jay Leno is a big fan of Bugattis. He owns quite a few of them, including a Type 37 that’s worth a lot of money. Of course, he’s very proud of the fact that he can drive these pieces of history on a daily basis, but not a lot of people do that these days.
Fortunately, there’s a solution if you want to keep your original exotic safe and sound in a garage. A company called Anglo Markets that build replicas has kindly brought one of the Type 35 for Leno to check out.

Unlike those Shelby Cobra replicas, there’s no modern equipment added. It still has the same sort of brakes, steering, straight-cut gears as the original car.

The company started out with by restoring these cars, and as the owner always wanted one, he made it happen with the tools created to repair and replicate parts for the original.

A cloned Bugatti Type 35 like this costs about $250,000 to customer order, which is about a 10% of the price of the original. They have everything true to the original, from the hand-build panels to the tires that are true to the era.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
