If you were hoping to replace that Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse poster with something else, something cooler, we have sad news for you guys. There won't be any new cars from Bugatti, at least not for the foreseeable future.
Speaking to Top Gear, Bugatti President Dr Wolfgang Schreiber said there will not be a production version of the 2009 Galibier four-door coupe. He also contradicted rumors that the company is working on a 1,500 hp version of the Veyron, the SuperVeyron, saying that the current 1,200 is more than enough.

This doesn't mean Buatti won't make another powerful car, just that development of new Veyron models has stopped. The company's engineers are now focusing on a new chapter. It's been almost a decade since the first 16.4 came out in 2005, so the announcement doesn't come as a surprise to us.

“We have talked many, many times about the Galibier, but this car will not come because [...] it would confuse our customers. With the Veyron, we placed Bugatti on top of all super-sportscar brands in the whole world. Everyone knows that Bugatti is the ultimate super sportscar. It’s easier for current owners, and others who are interested, to understand if we do something similar to the Veyron [next]. And that is what we will do. There will not be a four-door Bugatti, DR Wolfgang Schreiber explained.

Bugatti is facing stiffer competition than ever. For slightly less than a million Euros, you can now but Porsche or McLaren supercar with around 900 horsepower. It's output numbers and that sub-3-second sprint that made the Veyron famous. Will the French company ever have bragging rights again?
