Bugatti Has a Special $58 Cap You Could Wear Instead of a Helmet in the Bolide

Just like it was the case with the Veyron, Bugatti has taken the Chiron to new heights every time it makes a fresh derivative. Whether it’s a one-off (La Voiture Noire) or a special edition (Chiron Noire) based on it, a sporty derivative or two (Chiron Sport and Pur Sport), a controversial world record (Super Sport 300+), or something with a completely different name (Divo) - there’s something for everyone.

That’s valid if you have lots and lots of millions of greenbacks in the bank accounts, of course. In case you are a Bugatti fan without special Cayman Islands influence, it’s best to temper your desires and opt for something a bit more accessible – for example a Baby II replica, or perhaps one of those odd Buben&Zorweg things we didn’t quite wrap our minds around ever since they were presented.

Still, all these might be considered as being in a league of their own as well. So, for the rest of us – mere mortals – all that is left is a shot at Bugatti glory via the company’s newly released Audes collection. Prices are much more accessible, starting with that Bolide cap that costs less than a night at the movies with friends.

Bugatti says it’s their second partnership after the “110 anniversary collection” from 2019, and that it’s fully inspired by its current models. By the way, there’s ample choice, because this lifestyle ensemble has more than 50 items – power banks, mugs, a backpack, cufflinks, water bottle, and clothing, among others.

We did an exercise of imagination and decided that Bugatti’s Bolide cap or the “La Voiture Noire Raincoat Black” (€205 / $244) should be accompanied by a designated item for our favorite models from the French brand as well.

As such, the special edition “110 Car 02 T-Shirt White” (€65 / $77) and the “Double Face Padded Vest Blue & Grey” (€235 / $279) got assigned the Divo and a Baby II, respectively, for our office’s dream garage...
