We previously reported that the Bugatti Galibier development was put on hold, due to the fact that the car didn't raise up to the standard desired by Wolfgang Durheimer, the carmaker's boss.
Now, the executive is back with more Galibier news, telling autocar that the production version (this hasn't received the green light yet) will also be different from the concept we see in the adjacent image in terms of design.

He explained that around half of the Veyron owners were invited to experience the Galibier and many were disappointed, which led to a company investigation that brought the conclusion that it had to be reinvented.

I will suggest we continue development, but there will be some remarkable changes from the original concept,” Durheimer was quoted as saying by the aforementioned source. “The design will be different, especially from the B-pillar back, the ingress and regress to the rear seats will be improved, as will the legroom and ergonomics, the car will be a little longer, and the power of the engine will be at least four figures.
