Bugatti has just revealed the new Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale, at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show. It is a special edition of the roofless Veyron, and the most powerful roadster in the entire world.
The ‘Rafale’ name comes from the special grey paintjob, called ‘Gris Rafale’, with blue visible carbon accents around the roof, air intakes, as well as some parts of the rear end. The same color theme is carried over to the interior, which is all-blue, with contrasting grey stitching, to really set it apart - it looks very good, we say.

The engine is carried over from the regular Grand Sport Vitesse, so it produces the same 1,200 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. Performance figures are also the same, with 100 km/h (62 mph) coming up in a skull-shattering 2.6 seconds, while the top speed is 410 km/h (256 mph).

The Rafale is some €200,000 more expensive than the regular model, and it ends up costing €1.9-million, versus the standard car’s more affordable price tag of €1.69-million.
