A machine such as the Bugatti Chiron might be the stuff of dreams, but the Internet dares to go even further when it comes to such fantasies. This time around, we'll zoom in on the key fob of the Molsheim machine, which has now been rendered as a smart key.
The standard Chiron key is... well... pretty standard, as you'll notice in YouTube clip below, even though a second key is required to hit the Bug's maximum velocity.
The rendering we have here takes thenigs to a whole new level, as the gifts the 1,500 horsepower monster with a smart key. So while one face of the key fob is pretty normal, at least by car collector standards (more on this below), the other one is a touchscreen that includes multiple features, such as one that allows the owner to remotely bring the quad-turbo W16 motor to life.
This particular concept has been envision as a dedication to Many Koshbin, an entrepreneur whose supercars and hypercars are a constant presence on social media.
Iskander Utebayev is the digital artist behind this stunt, with the gear head now being web-famous for such creations. And you should know these don't always take the form of traditional key fobs, as, for instance, the aficionado has brought along a Porsche Design smart watch that acted as a key for one's Zuffenhausen machine.
Of course, smart keys such as the one we have here already exist on the market, with BMW being the first name that comes to mind when thinking of this, since the Bavarian automaker introduced keys that allow one to remotely drive the car in/out of a tight parking space.
However, using them on Bugatti models may or may not happen all that soon, since certain customers of the brand prefer the traditional way of dealing with a car.
