With a grille that's about four times taller than before, the new BMW 4 Series burst onto the scene this week. Fans say they've been left with a bitter aftertaste. Of course, those fans also stopped buying the 2-door BMWs, otherwise, the Germans wouldn't have to make such drastic changes.
With time, people might grow to appreciate the fresh 4er Coupe, especially after the M4 version comes out. If the rumors are true, and they should be, that will have over 500 horsepower and AWD, making it potentially the quickest in its class.

A tall grille isn't necessarily a bad thing. BMW has been steadily growing its famous frontal kidneys for many years. However, in the context of this rendering, the design goes back to resembling a pig's nose.

Face swaps have been rampant over the past few days, as designers have been eager to imagine both other BMWs and cars from rival brands with this look. But the Israeli artist superrenderscars went even further by doing a Bugatti Chiron version.

It's probably his favorite car to swap other faces onto, and over the past few months, we've seen how a Chiron might look with an STI nose or a Bentley grille. But nothing ever looked as bad as this. It looks like a cartoon villain pig, plotting world domination, or the end of the bacon industry. What's going to happen to our breakfast?

It's a real shame, considering the rendering started with a particularly nice version of the Chiron. It's the Chiron Pur Sport, which costs about $550,000 more than the 'standard' model and comes with a multitude of forged-carbon body elements, really cool wheels, and an exhaust tip that's 3D-printed out of titanium. You could probably buy ten new M440i models with that kind of money, or just a few older BMWs with way better grille designs. Your choice.
