MR Collection Models says that this is one of their most wanted models ever. And it's little wonder, as these guys have built a solid reputation over the years and the Chiron is the most talked about hypercar of the year.
Sure, there are plenty of other fast cars, ranging from the latest Koenigsegg to the LaFerrari. However, none of them have this look... we think.
The difference between a LaFerrari and a Bugatti Chiron is like that between an excellently prepared turkey and an average ham roast - you're always going to get more flavor from the full-fat one. Anyway, MR Collection's model of the Chiron is built in 1:18 scale.
Right now, we're looking at the pre-production model, but hopefully, the real deal will be ready by Christmas, because this would make one hell of a gift. The base is about as cool as the car, featuring a dark blue leather and white stitching. As for the Chiron, it looks like the launch edition shown at the beginning of the year in Geneva.
A scalloped shape separates the blue paint at the front from the back at the rear. They've even got details like the two-tone wheels and blue brakes right. However, we think the headlights could use a bit of detailing.
Inside, the Chiron model is accurate down to the carbon dash and tanned leather, which we think will never go out of style. However, the intricacy and attention to detail are hard to replicate at such a small scale.
If we had one of these models, we'd consider metal etching some extra features or adding LEDs somewhere. Maybe a speaker could be integrated into the base to play exhaust noise. So we want to know what you guys might do with a model like this and what you think is the perfect paint combination for this car.
