After getting cut off by Harley-Davidson and announcing the end of the journey back in 2009, Buell, since then going by the name of Erik Buell Racing LLC (EBR) seems to come back to a better life, and with even happier prospects.
GE Capital’s Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) has just announced that EBR will receive inventory, or floorplan financing. This means that Buell gets the necessary money to expand the dealership network across the US, allowing dealers the needed funds to stock, market and sell a large range of bikes and accessories.

A poor dealership network and faint marketing presence were some of the main causes for the decline of Buell, but it looks like things are about to change and we'll finally get to see more Buell bikes in dealerships showrooms. Even more, with Buell and Hero becoming closer now than ever, we might speculate that something bigger is brewing and we may live to see EBR restored to the former glory an prestige this top-notch American brand once enjoyed.
