While the news on the Brussels police starting camouflaging speed traps with ordinary municipality garbage bags spreading fast, the law enforcement spokespersons went on to claim that they were only trying to protect the equipment better.

With each of the devices reportedly costing €65,000 ($85,840), having to use plastic garbage bangs to keep them dry and running sounds like somebody was ripped off. However, with the same source mentioning a dramatic hike in the numbers of vehicles flashed during the past months, we can smell something dirty.

Now, we don't support speeding, but neither do we aggree with this kind of properly dirty hunt using dumb tricks. At any rate, it looks like the Brussels garbage became hostile overnight and this is bad news. Via Motorbiker.
