If you happen to find yourself among those who love their machine, you know that keeping it clean can be a nightmare. And it's not all about that fresh look - we're all familiar with the ways in which bird poo can harm the paint, for instance. Well, image you'd have to ensure your Lamborghini Huracan Performante stays nice and clean - what do you do?
Well, for one thing, you can gift the 640 horsepower toy with a wrap, thus making sure that no winged creature can ruin the factory finish of the Raging Bull.
Of course, second skin jobs also have a strong visual effect, with the one sitting before us being an example as good as any. Nevertheless, the onwer of this Lambo decided to stick with if you can't beat them, join them, and gave his V10 monster a... ready-dirty wrap.
In my book, this vynil transformation looks brilliant, so I have to applaud the effort invested into the car, both in terms of the design and wrap application.
Then again, the wrap isn't the only aftermarket aspect of the Italian exotic. For one thing, the Lambo sits on custom wheels, whose design isn't all the screaming.
However, the golden finish of the rims is what really sets them apart, with this somehow fitting the "dirt spots" found on the second skin of the mid-engined beast.
Who knows? Perhaps the owner also considered an aero kit. However, with the Performante incarnation of the Lamborghini Huracan packing active aero, stepping in with a tuning package could hardly improve things.
Speaking of the Performante, this was an important model for Lamborghini's 2018 sales success - I discussed this matter with Lamborghini EMEA CEO Andrea Baldi in an interview that took place earlier this week (you can find the tale here, with this going over the changes that currently define the Italian brand).
