While the Kardashians remain busy acting famous and rich, it turns out Bruce Jenner has bigger plans for his family, at least for the manly side anyway. Both Burt and Brandon Jenner recently rode along their father in a 850 horsepower trophy truck and reports are Kris’ ex is about to race the Baja 1,000.
While Kris Jenner stays busy buying new sportscars just for the everyday show off, it would seem her long time ex-hubby is now going back to his real love, racing. The former athlete is about to have his greatest dream come true as reports are his older son Burt and him will drive the #50 Stadium Super Truck for Gladiator Tires at this year’s Baja 1,000.

For those of you who don’t know, we’ll remind you this year the famous Mexican off-road race is a long 1,130 miles (1,818 km) point to point race ending in La Paz, Mexico and will run from November 12th through the 16th.

Burt is no stranger to off-road motorsports, as he competed in several different events before such as the prestigious King of the Hammers and plenty others.

Bruce and Burt will both take the wheel

According to the source, Craig Potts, who owns the #59 lime green trophy truck out of Scottsdale Arizona, will be driving a portion of the Baja along with Mike Cavitt his normal co-pilot. Burt and Bruce will be trading off their duties and each will take the wheel.

After all, Bruce might not be an experienced off-road racer, but he is definitely a professional driver. We’ll remind you that Bruce was a successful racecar driver in the IMSA Camel GT series (International Motor Sports Association) back in the 1980s. His first victory came in the 1986 12 hours of Sebring in the IMSA GTO class driving the 7-Eleven Roush Racing Ford Mustang with co-driver Scott Pruett. Not only did they win their class but they finished 4th overall in the 12-hour endurance race.

Anyway, we were looking for a great example of what an off-road race in the desert at the wheel of a trophy truck would be like and we stumbled upon quite a good example. Take a look at the video below.
