Bruce Cook's Double Front Flip Goes Horribly Wrong, He's Alright Now

Canadian FMX rider Bruce Cook attempted a double front flip during the first Nitro Circus event in the fresh North American tour. This would have been a world first in case Bruce succeed, but the stunt gods were looking the other way that night.

Despite the very brutal crash and remaining almost inert on the landing ramp, the Kelowna, BC rider is doing well in a hospital in Ontario, after a 3-hour surgery.

He will still remain in the hospital for several days, prior to going home to Kelowna and starting the long months of recovery.

Cook had been training very hard over cardboard "pools" for the stunt, but it looks like it was not enough for the first real-life attempt. We wish Bruce all the best and a speedy recovery.

If you have some kind word for him, feel free to wish a hearty Get Well, Bruce on his Facebook page.
