We are sure a lot of you can identify with this situation: you bought a car from a dealership and after driving it a couple of times, problems started to appear. The same thing happened to a guy from England, who bought a BMW M3 from a dealership but later found out the car had some problems. Who is to blame? Jeremy Clarkson, apparently.
Just a day after buying the M3, Rob Willis started to hear strange noises coming from the car. He went back to where he bought it to figure out what was going on. In the beginning, nobody knew what was the cause of the mechanical faults.

A month passed and nothing happened, until Willis saw his car being driven by Jeremy Clarkson in an older episode of Top Gear. After calling the dealership again, he received a number of replacement vehicles while his car went into the shop. In the end, he got his beloved and now famous BMW M3 back, with all the faults having been fixed.

According to the Daily Mail, the new owner recognized his car as the one Clarkson was in while he was skidding around Top Gear’s “home” track in Dunsfold by the number plates.

For those who didn’t see that specific episode, the ex-Top Gear presenter was pretty impressed by the M3, saying that if you have the right amount of money, you should buy one. Our guess is he forgot to mention “but not this one,” as he said many times before.

This is not the only time Top Gear has been accused of ruining a car. In 2003, Adrian Hamilton said his C-Type Jaguar had a couple of problems with the clutch and tires after being test driven in the show.

As you all know, the former three hosts of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, left the British car show after a pretty big scandal in which Jeremy was accused of hitting a producer, and they are now with Amazon, working on a new motoring show.

After a lot of speculation on who will host the show, Chris Evans, a British radio DJ and a big car enthusiast, has been brought in to continue Top Gear on the BBC. Although Evans is very thrilled about what is going to happen next, a lot of TG fans are still “crying” after the “perfect trio,” even now, several months after everything fell into pieces.
