If, let's say, three or four decades ago, you had asked humanity about the way in which we would take our trash out in 2016, the answer would've probably been closer to science fiction than reality.
Well, here we are, still grabbing the plastic thing on wheels by the handle and pushing it into the street.

Sure, there are a few, more convenient solutions to the issue, but none of them is simple. At least not as simple as the one we're here to show you.

When it comes to DIY projects, few people we know handle things better than Colin Furze. The British builder's latest project sees him building an R/C trash can (that's wheelie bin in British English, as Furze aptly points out) that can do most of the work for you.

In theory, the man has come up with a melange between a trash can, a wheelchair and a remote control mechanism. In practice, though, he put his skill to work in order to mix these ingredients.

And since Colin is a funny guy, he also considered the human side of the project, adding a few bits and pieces that give this plastic fellow a bit of a human face.

Once the build was complete, it was time for the thing to enter service, so Colin took it out on the street of Stamford, UK.

Well, the result is one of the best pranks we've seen over the last few years. While many YouTube attention seekers over in California turn to renting supercars and acting downright silly, this man managed to put together a light-hearted, mechanical amusing scenario.

And while most pranks we see nowadays are certainly staged, when it comes to Colin's latest feat, there are at least parts of the action that are obviously genuine.

Truth be told, we've been following the handy Brit for years and we're glad to see he's growing into an internet celebrity. After a few world records and tons of wacky contraptions, he deserves that digital glory. Check out the videos below for the action, as well as the build phase.
