Chris of BikeEXIF tipped us with an extremely interesting piece of information: British businessman Mark Upham, the guy who owns the rights to the Brough Superior name, has plans to re-start bike production.
Currently based in Austria, Upham took his own SS101 Pendine to the very Speed Trials which inspired its name. Accompanied by a British TV crew and Bonneville record speed holder Eric Patterson.
By far one of the most coveted two-wheelers around the globe, the Brough Superior was dubbed the "Rolls-Royce of motorcycles", given the absolutely impeccable craftsmanship of their bikes, reliability and ultimately, speed and luxurious attire.
Nowadays, Brough Superior machinery can be found in private collections, such as the one belonging to Jay Leno, and many are in perfect running condition. Someone dare name a price?
