Breitling for Bentley B06 S Watch Has The Vehicle’s Grille Reflecting in the Bezel

It was just the other day we were telling you folks about the esteemed partnership between the Swiss watchmaker and the British high-end car manufacturer. As opposed to the previous occasion, when Bentley was throwing in some new models, it’s Breitling’s turn this time with a hell of a watch we would go for.

Just as a short reminder, we were hinting at the seven-unit limited edition Bentley Continental GT Speed inspired from the aircraft used by the Breitling Jet Team in their world renown stunts. The sleek coupes are painted in a striking duo-tone split of Hallmark and Onyx with highlights color matched to the exact Pantone of Breitling’s unique Yellow.

This time around, however, the action takes us back to the lifestyle factor of the two companies’ 12-year collaboration. The Bentley B06 S watch may not have the most attractive name in the biz, but it sure looks like a keeper any collector would like to wear. Designed as a more compact version of the previous B06 and an evolution of the GMT Light Body B04 and B05 Unitime, this puppy has luxury car flavor in it.

According to Breitling, the B06 S profoundly reflects Bentley’s major design cues, and specifically the car's grille, which is reflected in the knurled motif found on the bezel and dial. Among the exclusive features, we’ll mention the ingenious "30-second chronograph" system inspired by a Breitling patent from 1926, with a central hand sweeping around the dial in half a minute. It ensures extremely accurate 1/8th second time readings.

Another world exclusive feature is the ‘variable tachometer’ with a rotating bezel serving to calculate average speed whatever the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached, the Swiss luxury timepiece maker details.

The Bentley B06 S is available in steel or red gold, with a choice of a metal bracelet or leather, crocodile or rubber straps. In terms of costs, you’ll most likely have to ask for a price, but we can tell you for sure these puppies won’t come cheap.
