Six months since the seven-time Formula One World Champion had a gruesome ski accident which ended with Schumi entering a vegetative state that seemed to last forever, the following report is sure to improve the spirits of quite a large number of people out there.

Believe it or not, but Michael Schumacher is now out of the coma, with the news coming from none other than his official manager, Sabine Kehm:

“Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore. His family would like to explicitly thank all his treating doctors, nurses and therapists in Grenoble as well as the first aiders at the place of the accident, who did an excellent job in those first months.

The family also wishes to thank all the people who have sent Michael all the many good wishes to Michael. We are sure it helped him. For the future we ask for understanding that his further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye.”

The fantastic piece of news comes after numerous world-class brain surgeons have again and again stressed that the probability of Schumi's state to improve is becoming less and less... probable.

Well, as it turns out, the joke was on them and the happiness is upon the millions of Schumi fans around the world, who can now finally celebrate a real step towards his recovery - which will be probably be undergone at either a special clinic or even at his Switzerland home.
