BrawnGP to Have New Sponsors Next Season

With the recent tensions at BrawnGP between Ross Brawn and Sir Richard Branson over future ownership of the Formula 1 team, Nick Fry, BrawnGP's chief executive said the team will drop Branson's sponsorship starting next year.

There were recent rumors about the misunderstandings between Brawn and Branson and they proved to be right. It was speculated that Sir Richard Branson, Virgin company's owner and BrawnGP's main sponsor, wanted to buy the F1 team from Ross Brawn.

But the problem was Ross Brawn didn't want to sell the team and thus the relation between the two deteriorated. Now, the British newspaper Daily Express confirmed Branson's departure from the BrawnGP F1 team starting next season.

BrawnGP's chief executive, Nick Fry, said for the British newspaper they're not worring about sponsors for the next season, confirming there is a big possibility for the team to sign a contract with the airline company Emirates. "We have zero worries on funding", said Fry supporting the claims which said the team has plenty sponsoring offers and is now in talks with investors.

On the other side, you needn't be worried about Sir Richard Branson's future either, as many reports state he is in talks with future Formula One team Manor. Speculations say the deal between Richard Branson and Manor could lead to the future F1 team being called "Virgin F1" starting next season.
