Brandt to Sponsor Turner Motorsports

The 400+ pool of sponsors posting their names on NASCAR vehicles and billboards has increased by one today, after farming equipment manufacturer Brandt announced it would become the primary sponsor for Turner Motorsports and the No. 31 Chevrolet driven by Justin Allgaier.

"We are extremely excited to team up with Justin and Turner Motorsports for the 2011 racing season,"
the company's CEO Rick C. Brandt was quoted as saying by NASCAR.

"Brandt is an exciting, aggressive and family values-based company. We feel we are teaming up with a driver who embodies these same qualities, and we are looking forward to seeing him exemplify that on the track.”

"I am very happy to welcome Brandt as a Turner Motorsports marketing partner,"
team owner Steve Turner said. "It is a company that I feel has the same core values and the same qualities that we do at Turner Motorsports."

The financial details of the deal between the sponsor and the team have not been made public. The brand livery will be featured on Allgaier's Nationwide Chevy for the duration of the 2011 season. Having secured a third place finish this year in the season, Allgaier is a choice the sponsor is pleased with, especially because the headquarters of the company is located near the driver's home town in Illinois.

“Coming from the small town of Pleasant Plains, Illinois and having the opportunity to team with such a great driver from nearby Riverton, Illinois adds to the excitement of the collaboration!,”
added Brandt.

“Also, NASCAR's upcoming transition to ethanol fuel embodies Brandt's leadership as a premier producer of environmentally sustainable products for agriculture. We look forward to representing American farmers on the track."
