This is one of those really sad supercar stories, where the owner (and his brother, in this case) went to pick their brand new Ferrari 458 Spider up from the local dealership, in Mallorca, Spain and the car ends up being totaled just two hours later.
Apparently, the driver may have overdone the corner entry speed, and the car hit a guardrail, which was in itself enough to completely total it. However, it then fell down some sort of cliff, and judging by the rocks seen behind the wreck in the photo, we say cliff is the proper way to describe what the car had fallen off of.
Judging from the picture, the car seems unrepairable, and a complete loss, which is a real shame, considering just how good (and expensive) a car it really is. We had a blast with a white example, when we recently drove it.
