It’s kind of sad whenever you see car crashes on YouTube these days. We all love our cars (well, some more than others, obviously) and seeing others suffer because of the stupidity of drivers in a rush is just hurtful. It’s all turned up to eleven though when you see a brand new car going through this sort of ordeal.
It’s the case of the BMW M4 shown in the video below, hailing from Malaysia. The owner apparently uploaded the clip to YouTube to show everyone how his sweet ride was thrashed by a driver that was seemingly in a hurry.

In it, we can see the M4 at a stoplight, waiting for the green light and then being violently hit on the left side as soon as it started moving. Apparently, a Toyota Avanza driver was in such a rush that he ran a red light and nearly destroyed the Bimmer in the process.

The pic of the aftermath is hard to look at, as it speaks not only of the consequences of this accident but also about how expensive the BMW was. In Malaysia, huge taxes make cars like this one a rarity and the M4 starts at MYR740,800, which translates to around $175,000 at the current exchange rates. That’s nearly three times as much as in the US and the owner was definitely a fan of the brand.

Chip in the M Performance parts noticeable on the car as well as what looks like Carbon Ceramic brakes on the front and we’re probably nearing the $200,000 margin, which is a lot for anyone, no matter if you’re living in Malaysia or the US.

However, it’s most likely that the M4 owner had insurance and everything will probably be sorted out, in the end the best part about this thing being that nobody got hurt.
