Brammo to Become Available in Canada, Demo Tour Announced

Living north of the US-Canada border and longing to go all-electric, but bringing the bike over is too much of a hassle and only makes the burning hole in your wallet bigger? No more sighs, as Brammo will become available in Canada really soon, and all your electric dreams will come true.

Local WC Distributing, formerly having stronger ties with Johnny Pag, will become the official importer for Brammo machinery. The announcement is quite recent and no detailed information was made public. However, CMG got wind of the Brammos becoming first available in the western provinces, with an expansion to the east to be made at a later, but yet unspecified date.

Even more, it appears like the debut for WC Distributing and Brammo will be a full-force one, with a demo tour scheduled in the next couple of weeks. The tour will start in the Edmonton, in Alberta, but that’s about all the info which surfaced so far.

Customers will be able to meet and possibly ride the Brammo Empulse R, with other models to be added to the distribution later. To make things even more interesting, WC Distributing will also sport two Pag cruisers on the tour, even though this may seem like a totally wrong combination, though it is not.

If you’re not familiarized with Johnny Pag motorcycles, we should add that they are designed in Orange County, California and manufactured by an overseas plant in Shanghai, China. They are powered by 300cc-class twin engines, and are offered for exceptionally attractive prices which start just under the $4,000 (€2,940) mark. They offer classic American chopper/cruiser looks, including hardtail frames, and a very lightweight construction which makes them exceedingly nimble in the urban traffic.

A very popular choice for entry-point and female riders, Johnny Pag bikes have been faring quite well since 2006 to the present day and seem like a truly successful recipe for offering an affordable first bike to beginning riders, even without need of financing plans.
