Behold, fellow Knights of the Republic, the all-new uniform of the Stormtrooper. This is the latest tuning project from the German wizards at Brabus, and it targets the mighty Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe.
This rival of the BMW X6 M now produces an astounding amount of power: 850 PS, or enough to make you forget about the recent debut of the Bentley Bentayga. With this much V8 grunt, Brabus says its version of the GLE Coupe can reach speeds in excess of 320 km/h (200 mph).

Of course, what's under the bonnet is a typical Brabus 850 kit. The changes have left the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 almost unrecognizable. Its muscles have been forced to the limit by increasing the displacement to 5,912cc and adding new turbos and intercoolers.

The 850 horsepower are accompanied by 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) of torque delivered between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. The rebel army doesn't stand a chance when your performance Sports Activity Coupe reaches 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds.

Oh and for the record, the Bentayga's 605 horsepower W12 takes to the same speed in 4.1 seconds, so it's slower. Brabus even provides peace of mind, as the changes are covered by a three-year/100,000 km (62,000 miles) warranty.

We don't need to tell you that the body of the GLE 63 AMG Coupe has not been left intact since it's obvious from looking at the photos. However, we loved looking at each and every carbon fiber component. The front bumper features a massive chin spoiler with wings on the side and a black mesh grille. The Mercedes and AMG logos have all been removed, being replaced by Brabus ones.

Side skirts are also quite nice, but we're most taken with the supercar-like rear diffuser and the quad exhaust system. You may notice subtle changes in the GLE from one photo to the other. That's because the Germans used this white machine to showcase all their wheel designs, available from 21- to 23-inch sizes.

If you're looking for the fastest, most powerful, sexiest Mercedes SUV around, this has to be it.
