Admit it, you wanted Brabus to lay their magic hands on the Mercedes-Maybach S600 the moment you saw the first batch of official photos with the Stuttgart limousine. Well, your dream came true although we have some doubts about that new interior.
We don't know where to begin with this one. Should we tell you about design changes or performance improvements? Still, we'd like to talk first about the interior styling, just to get over it as quick as possible.

So, inside the cabin changes include leather and Alcantara upholstery combined with additional wood and carbon fiber trim. If you ask us, the standard setup was much better, at least in visual terms. But taste is not to be discussed, so we'll naturally go on and inform you about other features.

On the outside, the opulent Mercedes-Maybach S600 was gifted with a Brabus aerodynamic kit carefully assorted with Brabus Monoblock “Platinum Edition” 21-inch rims. Well, the cold sober appearance of the flagship is still there, but you'll be able to oversee that once you find out what's hiding under the hood.

What has now become the Brabus Rocket 900 6.3 V12 is home to 900 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of maximum torque fully unleashed at 4,200 rpm.

The engine's displacement was increased to 6.3 liters via a custom Brabus billet crankshaft coupled with an enlarged cylinder bore. But there's more. The standard turbos were substituted by turbochargers with a larger compressor unit.

The result is a yacht on wheels that can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds, despite tipping the scales at 2,800 kg (6,172 lb). Top speed is rated at 350 km/h (217 mph), but you'll need the German autobahn to certify that.
