Probably the first twin-turbocharged Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in the world is sadly going away along with the soon to be defunct modern Gullwing.
As you know, Mercedes-Benz has decided to end the SLS AMG's production quite abruptly, thus making us and all its thousands of fans fill their souls with sadness.
Almost predicting the fact that its replacement – though not direct successor – will no longer sport a naturally-aspirated engine but switch to turbocharging, the peeps from Brabus already made such a conversion on the SLS AMG a couple of years ago.
After being touched by the magic hands of the Bottrop engineers, the naturally-aspirated M159 heart of the 571 hp SLS became twin-turbocharged, unleashing an entirely new potential for the modern Gullwing.
With no less than 700 hp and 850 Nm (627 lb ft) of torque on tap, the Brabus SLS 700 Biturbo in the adjacent photos from Essen also received a Widestar bodykit and an exclusive interior adorned with Alcantara and Brabus Mastik leather, making it aspire to a whole new level in the supercar kingdom.
