Besides a tuned version of the G-Class, the German aftermarket specialists at Brabus are also planning to show this stunning black coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. This is the first time the AMG GT has been targeted by the Rocket people, and we are in awe of the results.
First, let's look at the goodies that lie under the hood. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine now offers more power, not a lot, but enough to impress us. Going from 510 to 600 PS, the AMG GT S now packs as much punch as a supercar, while the 750 Nm of torque (553 lb-ft) reminds us of legendary Brabus Rocket models.

Is it faster? Yes. Brabus claims 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprints now take only 3.6 seconds, and the top speed is 325 km/h (201 mph), 15 km/h faster than before. If you take the beauty of this long-nosed beast, a regular supercar like the Audi R8 suddenly sounds like a bad idea.

Several cosmetic changes have been made in the trademark German style. Everything is made from carbon fiber and combines well with the natural dynamism of the GT. Starting at the front, we are dealing with a brand new bumper that has a protruding chin, carbon air intakes extra lights and a Brabus grille.

The tuning company also modified the side skirts, rear diffuser, and wing. A new exhaust system will make every sportscar owner drool with envy. The AMG GT S rides on ultra-light Monoblock F forged wheels with diameters of 20 inches on the front and 21 at the rear.

A complete set of aftermarket goodies is available for the interior. No fan of this tuning brand will be surprised by the illuminated scuff plates or custom carpets. You can also order matte anodized or chrome-plated aluminum pedals and aluminum paddle shifters. From carbon trim to fine leather, these Germans will do anything.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
