Brabus offers something for every Mercedes model, usually before anybody else. Starting today, that includes the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback, which has been garnished with a full array of hot hatch accessories.
There's also an engine pack called the Brabus PowerXtra B 25 S. This means you can buy the A250 and have it producing 270 HP and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque, 46 HP and 30 Nm more than stock. This is pretty close to A35 performance, but we don't understand why you won't have the real hot hatch instead of this modded unit.
The B25 pack starts with a nice new airbox that has a carbon fiber cover. There's also an ECU and quad exhaust, though the latter is a separate purchase. Having 270 horsepower, the A250 reaches 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, though it's still limited at the top end for safety.
The exhaust is our favorite accessory for the A-Class. It comes with its matching black diffuser and some oversized carbon fiber tips. The pipes themselves are rifled on the inside just to let you know the B25 means business. And, of course, Brabus makes an app to control the butterfly valves.
The 2019 A-Class is already a sport-looking hatchback, but Brabus managed to make it sportier. At the front, the AMG Line body kit can be embellished with a large chin spoiler. Changes have also been made to the Mercedes badging and side intakes.
Another stand-out feature is the sizable roof spoiler that takes this into A35 territory. A variety of wheel designs are available for this car, starting from 17 inches and working up to 20 inches with three designs being available, Monoblock F, R, and T.
Tasteful interior upgrades are available from the tuner. These include stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Brabus logo, aluminum pedals, and velour floor mats embossed with their stamp. Of course, a full leather rework is available, but we rarely see those outside the super-expensive S-Class and G-Class show cars.
