Brabus New-Generation Mercedes-Benz M-Klasse Widestar

Brabus, the official smart tuner and one of the oldest Mercedes tuners, has just unveiled an update for its Widestar M-Klasse tuning package particularly addressed to the new-generation ML. The German company says the new Brabus Widestar package is similar to its predecessor, as it makes the tuned M-Klasse five centimeters wider than the stock model. This means the resulting vehicle is more aggressive and provides improved handling, Brabus said.

Other highlights include 23-inch forged wheels, sporty suspension upgrades, power tuning for all engines included in this series plus a bunch of various elements that improve both the design and the performance of the vehicle.

Just as expected, the performance package brings an impressive output to the engines included the new-generation M-Klasse range, with the ML 350 unit now developing 287 horsepower (211 kW). However, the best example comes from the B63 S power kit addressed to ML 63 which raised the maximum power to 550 hp (404.8 kW). This means the aftermarket model is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.9 seconds, with top speed rated at 275 km/h (172 mph).

“All BRABUS engines are lubricated exclusively with ARAL high-performance motor oil. The specially calibrated stainless-steel BRABUS sport exhaust with four chrome-plated tailpipes is available for all M-Klasse engines,” the German tuning company said in the statement.

As you can see in the photo gallery published below the article, the interior looks absolutely astonishing, with “exclusive BRABUS fully leather interior made from a perfectly finished combination of the finest Mastik and Alcantara leathers,” as the German tuner mentioned in a statement for the press. The front seats house a 7-inch LCD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and an integrated DVD player. Each door is partially covered by leather while various other elements are entirely made of carbon-fiber.
