If you ever thought that the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 was a freak of nature and no other G-Class could ever top it we have some bad news for you. The most exclusive G-Class of all times just became even more exclusive.
Yes, this car is actually happening. Brabus actually took a G 63 AMG 6x6 and turned it into an even more extreme vehicle – one that looks like something the devil would drive if it actually existed (the devil, that is, becaue this car is real).

Brabus must have gotten the car months ago, which is a bit odd considering that official deliveries of the “normal” G 63 AMG 6x6 won't start until 2014, but hey, not everyone can do what the guys from Bottrop are doing.

The B63S – 700 performance kit, which is available for all current 63 AMG SUVs, pretty much transforms an impressive engine into an all-out beastly V8.

No less than 700 hp are squeezed from the 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged M157 engine, which is over 156 hp more than the “standard” version. As far as torque goes, the numbers are up from a not exactly puny 760 Nm (560 lb ft) to a staggering 960 Nm (708 lb ft).

After these modifications, the close to four tons (8800 lbs) weight of the 6x6 can be moved to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 7.4 seconds, while its top speed is still limited to 160 km/h (100 mph) because of the heavy duty off-road tires.

The exterior design modifications are somewhat subtle, in typical Brabus fashion, something which cannot be said about the “my eyes, they are burning!” red leather interior. You can have a closer look at the six-wheeled beast at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show, or in the adjacent phoot gallery. There was no mention of any pricing, but, if you have to ask...
