This year’s edition of the Essen Motor Show has given us the 8th episode of the Tuni it! Safe! campaign, which aims to promote responsible tuning and this time we’re talking about the new Mercedes A-Class.
A Brabus body kit including a front fascia, a rear diffuser and a roof spoiler, was fitted to a Mercedes A250 BlueEFFICIENCY. The car, which rides on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 rubber, is also wearing a police livery, as well as a light bar for the roof.

Climbing a board, we find custom floor mats, metallic pedals and custom controls for the aforementioned roof bar, but this is where the list of modifications ends. Under the hood, we’ve got a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol unit that has been tweaked to deliver 245 hp and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft).

Thus, the car needs just 6.2 seconds to cover the 0 to 62 mph, while its top speed sits at 155 mph (250 km/h), while returning an efficiency of 6.1 liters per 100 km (38.6 US mpg) and emitting 143 grams of CO2 per km.
