The first iBusiness S-Class with a V8 instead of a V12, the latest Brabus model to be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show is pretty much a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Based on the “standard” Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG, the Bottrop loony engineers took out the M157 AMG engine, increased its displacement from 5.5 liters to 5.9 liters (5.912 cc), upgraded the two turbochargers, replaced the eight pistons with forged ones, added an increased and more breathable air filter box and a stainless steel exhaust.

Finally, they brought their own ECU to handle all the modifications above, transforming the car in the fastest Mercedes-Benz S-Class in history. Its 5.9-liter twin-turbo V8 makes no less than 850 hp now, while the maximum torque has been electronically limited to a tire-melting 1150 Nm (848 lb ft).

We have no idea if the base car has 4Matic, but, considering the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 3.5 seconds, we have a rather good hunch that the car is all-wheel drive. The Brabus iBusiness 850 Biturbo's top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).

As with all the other iBusiness models that preceded this S-Class, the car's interior is the most impressive feature. The whole cockpit would make any Apple fan scream “Opulence, I has it!”.

We are talking about a pair of Apple iPads, Mac Mini, Apple TV, iPhone docking station, etc. pretty much the whole Apple range can be found integrated somewhere between those acres of silky-smooth leather and Alcantara.

We managed to visit Brabus' headquarters, including their famous leather works and even drive a Brabus GLK V8 6.1 and a brutish Brabus E V12 a few years ago and we still haven't come back to our senses. We are now waiting for the first opportunity to test drive one of these bad boys, but, until that happens, we'll just continue to wipe the drool off our keyboards.
