Yesterday, we showed you two Brabus teasers for the Essen Motor Show and it is now time to get into the details of the projects. We’ll start with the 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, for which the German tuner offers a complete package.
We’ll start with the tech side, which includes the Brabus Eco PowerXtra D6S performance kit for the ML 350 BluTEC 4MATIC, which brings the output from 258 hp and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) to 306 hp and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft). This allows the SUV to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in a swift 6 seconds, while the top speed climbs to 142 mph (230 km/h).
Brabus also offers a lowering module for the models fitted with AIRMATIC air suspension, which brings the vehicle down by 30-40 mm, while models that come with a normal suspension can also be lowered by 30 mm.
The Brabus M-Class can ride on a wide variety of lightweight alloy rims that come in sized between 18 and 22 inches.
The vehicle is dressed in a discreet body kit that uses parts made from Pur-R-Rim plastic, features lights for the door handles and comes with an interior that offers goodies such as a new leather finish (this can be tailor-made)
