Bourdais Gets Wrong Haircut ahead of Valencia Race

Sebastien Bourdais might have wanted to proceed to a change of look before the European Grand Prix at Valencia, but he should have checked with his hairdresser first. The two obviously spoke the wrong language a few days ago, when the 20-year old Swiss driver went to his team's headquarters at Faenza to get a haircut.

According to Buemi himself, he had “a communications breakdown with his hairdresser” and things didn't go on as initially planned. Without giving the media any further information on the haircut session, he admitted it's likely he'll wear his Red Bull cap for the entire duration of the Valencia event.

That being said, the Swiss driver will be looking to forget about his poor performances in Hungary, when he finished the race behind his 19-year old teammate Jaime Alguersuari. During the race at the Hungaroring, Buemi did plenty of mistakes on track, including a useless spin during his second stint.

At the end of the race, the Swiss driver admitted he never drove worst in a Formula One machinery and promised his team he would recover as soon as possible. Following Sebastien Bourdais' exit from the team after the German Grand Prix, the Hungarian round saw Buemi take on the leading-driver spot within Toro Rosso for the first time in career.

Action at the Valencia circuit will begin at 10.00 AM local time, with the first practice session on Friday.
