Florida now has its second Boss Hoss dealer in Florida, Holly Hill, in the south of the state, which is also believed to be the newest dealer in the whole US. And in case this piece of news was not enough to catch your attention, maybe learning that the new dealership belongs to a woman will.
Whitney Van Horn is the name of the daring woman who is now selling Boss Hoss in Florida. She decided to get her brand out during the Daytona Bike Week 2014, fairly close to home and making a bold statement as the only woman to own a Boss Hoss dealership in the United States. Even if Van Horn has a 14-year experience in the automotive industry, starting things was not exactly easy, she told News 13.

“Once you get your foot in the door in that world, then it really can open up. There's a lot, there's a lot you can do, go forward with once you kind of prove yourself, that yeah, I can hang with you. Sometimes they throw you, give you a question that throws you for a loop to see if you're really for real or not," she said. "But they usually figure it out real quick,” Van Horn adds.

Boss Hoss is building limited edition custom motorcycles powered by V8 engines the likes of which you can find in Chevrolet Corvette cars. Established in 1990 by Monte Warne, Boss Hoss has grown and expanded the product line-up and refined the construction and engineering of their bikes. Trikes have also been added to the growing offer , as well and 2-speed transmissions with reverse, inverted front suspension, vacuum formed body panels and more. In 2006, Boss Hoss also received full vehicle type-approval from the European Commission (EC), making riding one in Europe legal and the manufacturer becoming the only globally- approved V8 motorcycle manufacturer.
