Borile Motocicletti announces a new addition to the retro bike line-up in the shape of the B300CR. The bike will be launched in Milan on June the 18th, and those attending the event will also receive a generous 30% discount on original Borile apparel.
The newest member of the Borile family is the B300CR, a smaller engine version of the very good-looking B500CR. So far, Borile has not revealed any photo of the bike, but it will be much like its very good looking half-liter sibling, and we can tell this from the first "spy photos" that made it on Twitter.
Even without the trademark arching frame of the 500CR, the B300CR might become the next true classic jewel. The B300CR comes fifteen years after the introduction of the B500CR and it retains its polished, all-metal finish.
We hoped that the B300CR would also sport an intriguing frame, but it looks like Borile went for a more conservative frame. The polished aluminium tank is matched by an aluminium rear subframe with ample side plates that hide the monoshock. Hand-hammered aluminium fenders are also on the list.
The heart of the B300CR is a Loncin 297cc air-cooled thumper. The carbureted Chinese powerplant can produce 20 hp at 7,500cc and has electric starting. With all the aluminium, the Borile B300CR is expected to be lightweight and fun, even though the hand-made parts will increase the price. When the bike was announced earlier this year, rumors had it for under €6,000 ($6,735).
