The British built Juke is getting ready to enter the local market, and Nissan thought the youngest woman ever to climb Everest is the perfect choice to promote it. The new crossover will officially be available at Nissan dealerships across the UK starting September 24, but orders are already booming.

According to the carmaker, there have already been more than 2,000 orders registered in Britain only, while more than 15,000 orders have now been taken across Europe.

“Selected by Nissan to take part in the new Juke launch due to her incredible personal achievements and natural sense of adventure, 22-year-old Bonita displays the qualities respected by Nissan and that typify the new Juke,” Nissan says on its choice of using Norris to launch the all-new Juke crossover.

“I’m delighted to back the launch of Nissan Juke because I believe in backing British, and anything that creates jobs and pride for this country has my support. Juke defies the stereotypes and breaks the mould, I can relate to that. I’m unconventional and I’ve got a spirit of adventure that drives me to do different things and this is what Juke represents,” Norris said in a statement.

The Juke’s engine range is comprised of two petrol powerplants and a diesel unit and there will be three equipment levels: Visia, Acenta and Tenka.

The Nissan Juke starts at 12,795 pounds (EUR15,100) for the Visia model powered by the naturally aspirated petrol engine. The diesel model has a starting price of 14,145 pounds (EUR16,700). At the top of the range, we find the 4WD Tenka model equipped with the turbocharged 1.6 liter unit that can be yours for 19,995 pounds (EUR23,600).
