Bob Grace, New Jaguar Land Rover China President

The newly created position of President for Jaguar Land Rover China has been occupied by Bob Grace, previously Jaguar Land Rover Overseas Operations Director, the car manufacturer announced today. In his new position, Grace will oversee the company’s operations in China and focus on managing the sales growth of the two brands.

Grace first joined the company in 1985 and has since held various global leadership positions. In his new role, he will be supported by Chris Brown who will move from his current role as Jaguar Land Rover China Managing Director to a newly created position, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs.

Brown will establish Jaguar Land Rover’s national presence in Beijing, where the company will build a new team to engage with national government, automotive industry groups and the media on the company’s behalf.

“The expansion of our executive management team in China is further reflection of the crucial importance China plays to the company’s success and development globally. Bob Grace and Chris Brown have accomplished great things for Jaguar Land Rover and together they will manage our next phase of growth in China,” Ralf Speth, Chief Executive Officer, Jaguar Land Rover said in a release.

Last month Jaguar Land Rover revealed its operations in China will, in the future, run as a wholly-owned National Sales Company (NSC). At the same time the company announced the opening of a new Training Academy which will offer sales, technical and management training to approximately 3,000 company delegates per year.
