In this addition of cars gone wild, we bring you ShBoom, a musically themed custom Ford hot rod with a retro blue flame paintjob, a musical theme and gigantic fire cannons round the back, causing a spectacle wherever it goes.
There are at least two ShBoom cars built by the same person. One is a 1951 Ford Custom coupe and the other a 1948 Cadillac dragster that's fitted with a supercharger and makes 1,250 hp.

While they look like show cars, they are not trailer queens. Their owner says he drives them thousands of miles each year. Throughout the years, the Ford has been reworked at least 4 times and in the latest version it's picked up a large chrome grille with spikes and even larger exhaust pipes.

The original ShBoom car was built over two decades ago and is famous for appearing at the Woodward Dream Cruise each summer. This fire-belching machine has a special pyrotechnics setup which allows the car to shoot flames high into the air.

Both cars belong to Bob "ShBoom" Fryz from Dearborn, Michigan. He's the owner of FRYZ Kustoms and besides cars, his other big passion is Motown music. That doesn't surprise us, considering he's named the Ford and Caddy after old song by The Chords.

Love it or hate it, ShBoom is cool and it demands respect, even from the German car owners gathered to see it in this video.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
