Since we started the day with a brief walk through BMW's roadsters, we thought we should go out and look for some more real-life pictures of some of their top-less cars. The one we found is probably the best they ever did: the Z8.
This beautiful roadster was spotted in Heerlen, Netherlands and is simply stunning. It has a blue color on the exterior, very similar to the one used by Alpina that looks amazing, even to this day, almost 10 years after the last one was built.

Actually, judging from the wheels, it would look like this model is, in fact, an Alpina V8 Roadster but the BMW badges will set you back a bit. If this was to be an Alpina automobile, this spot would really be a rare one.

That's because the V8 Roadster was built in only 555 units. What set the Alpina model from the stock one was the grand tourer character. Instead of being a hardcore sports car, this model was more laid back.

It was available only with an automatic 5-speed gearbox and a downgraded 4.8-liter V8 engine that made 375 HP and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque. The suspension was also tweaked, to be more comfortable, the upholstery was changed to Nappa leather and the dash received the typical Alpina add-ons.

A brilliant car, nonetheless, no matter what version we're talking. One was built for high-performance, one for luxury and comfort but they both impressed in their own way.
