While the X6 M is riddled with faults, such as reduced visibility through the rear hatch, as well as poor offroad performance, it does do what BMW wanted it to do in the first place: look cool and handle well on the road.
The car is also technically important, since it made its debut with the brand new S63 engine that later evolved for the M5 and M6. This unique BMW M vehicle is well liked due to its looks and powerful engine, especially in Russia, where they can’t seem to get enough of them.
One owner wanted his to stand out a mile away, and so had in wrapped in blue chrome. The X6 M was done by the guys at RE-Styling at their Volga shop. The end result is a bold statement and a way to show BMW M some love, since this is a chrome version of Monte Carlo Blue. They’ve even colored the wheels and done the grille to look a bit like a BMW M flag. The bonnet and the boot lid are both done in fake carbon fiber mesh.
