Since we have so many airplane aficionados around the office, it would have been easier to suggest this is the color used by Russian air force jets on their underbellies to camouflage themselves into the sky. But we don't like doing things the easy way and as such we're going to reference a cartoon.
This BMW X6 has thus become, in our eyes, the first Smurf blue car Sports Activity Coupe. It was done by the Russian wrappers at Re-Styling and not surprisingly belongs to the same guy who wrapped his Lexus GS in hulk green.

It's obvious that this owner not only has a taste for expensive cars but also for adding personality to his vehicles. We always wondered what sort of person would like a Lexus and a BMW at the same time, and now we know. Anyway, we really don't know why the sober Germans can't put a color like "Smurf Blue" in the official configurator.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
