Moscow tuner TopCar is known mainly for its work with the Mercedes GLE-Class and the Porsche 911. However, it's also a distributor for the Lumma Design body kit in Russia.
As such, the company sometimes shows stuff like this X5 CLR, which makes it very hard to resist comparing it to Darth Vader.

The base ingredients for the tuning project are pretty good. Like an A5 piece of meat, the X5 is fat and juicy. So plenty of flavors are released when you play with the grille.

Lumma's kit is of the widebody variety, so it makes an already large SUV appear even more muscular. But it also adds sporty character, thanks to the usual array of skirts and spoilers.

While we hear the Death Star theme in the background, we want to mention that the X5 features a lower front spoiler and modified air intakes. Lumma also place some extra air intakes in at the very bottom, exactly where you might hit a curb.

To get the wider look, the tuners went for fender flares, which were painted in the same color as the rest of the body. Why do you need wider fenders? Because of the fresh set of LUMMA CLR 23 GT wheels that are painted matte black and fitted with 315/25-23 tires. Yes, they compromise the ride, but Lord Vader never complained about his legs being made of metal.

Around the back, this Russian customer demanded that the Lumma custom exhaust system be installed. And why wouldn't be, when the quad tips fool some people into thinking it's the X5 M. As far as the body kit is concerned, you've got a wing at the top of the trunk, another insert under the wiper and a fake diffuser.

We were never provided with images of the interior. However, we know that a Lumma kit is usually accompanied by custom door sills, carpets and maybe even an Alcantara steering wheel. Eiter way, the Russians are definitely keeping the industry alive.
