The retiring BMW X5 model, the E70, will still be regarded as the best ever made, until the F15 takes over. Even though some people will surely start looking down on the new model from day one, its advantages over the competition will soon make even them understand that the X5 doesn't play around.
For those of you that didn't already know, the BMW Driving Experience, provides random people with the ability to drive M Performance cars on a proper track with guidance from proper instructors.
At the same time, the program is also available for SUVs, mainly the X5, as one journalist found out, right in the desert of Namibia. His experience was so intense that he never forgot it.
Fortunately for us, BMW put together some sort of a clip to show us exactly what they did in the desert with the E70 X5 and how the car performed. It's an interesting look at how the xDrive system helps you out, no matter of the terrain.The whole thing happened back in 2010 and our team was there too, to witness the X5 in action.
