BMW X5 SUV Becomes an Extra-Long Limo

Of all the strange vehicles to turn into a limousine, a BMW X5 SUV is clearly one of the last on any limo builder’s list. However, that hasn’t stopped some people from making it - extra-long.
This particular example is based on the E70 model, and it has only covered some 34,600 km (21,500 miles) and the owner is asking $43,500, yet he is claiming that it cost him some $65,000 to build in the first place. However, it also seems to be a practical way of transporting 15 people in comfort, luxury and in a very conspicuous way.

It is powered by BMW’s familiar 3.0-liter straight-six, which we say is much too underpowered to really handle the extra bulk of the whole thing. If you are interested in buying it, it is available on eBay with more pictures.
