BMW is looking to increase the number of M-badged model and one of the future cars that are included in this plan is the 2015 X4 M. According to xbimmers, a BMW insider nicknamed Scott26 has some new details about the car that he wants to share with the world.
The X4 M is described as “an M3 on stilts” and will draw styling inspiration from the X3 and X6, but will be 40 mm shorter than the first. Since this will be an M-badged vehicle (probably an M Performance car, not an M) it will also come with a specia lbody kit and BMW might take advantage of its carbon fiber developments and offer optional body panels made of this.
Under the hood, the X4 M is expected to pack the next M3’s engine, with this expected to be a tri-turbo straight six delivering around 450 hp, which will work with an M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
