The long awaited new BMW Sports Activity Coupe has finally arrived. This is the X4, a sexy new machine from the Bavarian automaker which is actually supposed to make a full debut tomorrow, but has leaked onto the web early.
The four-door coupe version of the X3 looks a bit longer and more elegant than it did before. Don't be fooled by the "concept" name, this is very much a reality that is coming to our roads within about a year.
Every time the Germans have a new model coming, the short off by showing the concept version first, to allow them time for more subtle changes to the design of the grilles and headlights for example.
The engines will be sourced from the X3, but a sportier driving experience is most likely to be seen.
It's likely only going to be a couple of hours before BMW actually reveals the X4 Concept, and until then, these leaked photos will surely keep our full attention. Look for this compact coupe on stilts to debut late this month at the Shanghai Auto Show.
