BMW promised to bring its next Sports Activity Coupe to the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and, as usual, they delivered. The Concept was on the scene yesterday, when the whole thing began.
The Concept is looking beautiful, as always, since it was unveiled in Shanghai earlier this year, showing us almost exactly how the production car will look like. We’re saying that because lately BMW started to make their cars really close to the concepts.
The new model is expected to be launched next year, most likely in the 3rd or 4th quarter, based on the F25 X3 platform. Actually the codename the X4 will have will be F26 so you get the point...
As for the engines, few surprises are expected here too. We’re guessing most of them will be 2 and 3-liter units with outputs between 184 HP and 306 HP. Of course, at first 28i and 35i models are expected to be launched in the US alongside 20d models for Europe.
