Usually, every model from any car manufacturer is designed in absolute secrecy. Nobody can now anything about it until its official release. That's why most manufacturers go as far as testing their cars in remote areas of the world or covering them up with unusual camouflage.
This time, BMW decided that the best way to design a new car is to consult the target audience. That's why they just posted, on their Facebook page, a first draw of a concept car and asked the fans what they thought it was.
Of course, the most important models that will be coming out of the company's assembly lines this year and at the beginning of the next are the X4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe, cars that are already building serious myths around them.
The X4 seems like a long shot for this drawing, mostly due to the low stance of the car. The new Sport Activity Coupe from BMW will surely be taller than this, with a ground clearance close to the X3, probably. So, that's out of the question.
The 4 Series Gran Coupe seems more likely. The Coupe shape of the car with the trademark Hofmeister Kink and the 4 pillars show us that the car has 4 doors. However, after careful review, you'll find out that the design we're looking at is the 3 Series GT, shown by BMW on their official press site, a while back.
