BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Full Runner Concept

A while back, German manufacturer BMW set up a blog, called dontblogaboutthis.com. A blog whose sole purpose is to preview a new BMW concept, based on the Vision EfficientDynamics which was the star of last year's Frankfurt Auto Show. Since the time we brought you that news, additional information and a new video not showing much of the new concept were released, in a more or less official manner. The car, which will be revealed to the curious public on September 30, will probably wear the name BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Full Runner. According to BMWblog, the new concept will be used to showcase the model's platform, three-cylinder diesel engine, two small electric motors and the battery technology. This new concept will be apparently a fully working prototype. Unknown yet whether the vehicle will be on display at the BMW booth on the grounds of the Paris Auto Show (rumor is the concept will be presented to a selected audience in a private event, pretty much like it was the case with the 5 Series GT), the model is said to have undergone extensive testing at Miramas BMW test center near Marseilles, France. If the vehicle will make it to the Paris Auto Show next month, we'll make sure to bring you the latest from the event. autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
